Rope guide for hoist

The rope guide is used to guide and place the rope into the drum channels. It consists of a cast iron guide nut that slides along the drum channels and a sheet steel clamping ring tightened to the rope by coil springs.

A guide segment is mounted on the guide nut, connecting its two ends and leading the rope into the window of the supporting housing. It also actuates the limit switch via a lever system.
