In Bulgarian hoists (T, MT series), the hoist gear shaft is the central link that transmits torque from the electric motor to the planetary gearbox.
Main Features and Design
Design: It is a cylindrical steel rod made of high-strength alloy steel with splined or toothed connections at both ends.
Location: It runs inside the hollow hoist drum, ensuring the alignment of all lifting mechanism components.
Interaction: One end of the shaft is connected to the motor rotor's flexible coupling, and the other to the splined hole of the sun gear of the first gearbox stage.
